Prescription Drug Online Training

We have developed online training for youth, community members and professionals on prescription drug use and misuse.  There are two courses available - one for youth, and one for adults.

In the youth course you will learn about safe and unsafe use of prescription and over-the-counter medication. The course encourages using traditional and alternative ways to stay safe, healthy and balanced in all areas -  mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually.

The adult course
provides information on prescription drug use and misuse and includes traditional and complementary approaches for healing pain as well as ways to reduce harm to the individual, family and community.

The adult course is accredited for 15 training hours with the Canadian Council of Professional Certification (CCPC) and the Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation (CACCF) and is suitable for all adults including NNADAP and other frontline workers.

Both courses are free of charge.

You can access the training site at: http://www.training.abfnspiritofhealing.com
